AWU Workplace Reps are members like you, who want to make a difference and help their mates. Become a Rep today
The AWU has a long proud history, built on a tradition of work mates standing together. AWU Workplace Reps are otherwise ordinary Union members who want to make a difference and help their mates.
More than a 150 years of hard earned conditions and rights at work have never been in more serious peril. Every day there is more proof of the severe impact of Work Choices. AWU members are already paying the price for the Liberal Government's radical attack on working families.
Being an AWU Workplace Rep is about standing with your mates. It's not only about protecting the conditions left to us by our parents, but improving them so we can leave something better for our children.
The AWU conducts regular training for our Reps. The success of our campaigns in your workplace relies on the active participation of members and the commitment of our Workplace Reps.
You can express an interest in becoming a Workplace Rep online and there is a special web site just for our Workplace Reps, which includes information about upcoming training and other resources.
