Membership of the AWU costs very little, and there are a range of payment options. CLICK HERE to find out more.
Q: So what are the advantages of AWU Direct Debit?
Union contributions can be made without having your employer know that you’re a member. You also know you’re covered by the Union straight away – you don’t have to wait for your employer to send the money in.
You have a statement from your bank that keeps track of your contributions.
Q: How often does the AWU deduct my Union contributions?
Direct Debit can be done fortnightly or monthly. You nominate how you want to pay.
Q: Do I pay extra for direct debit?
No, the transaction is paid for by the AWU. You do not pay for the direct debit to be made from your account.
